Ratings: “Pearson” Premiere Loses Big Chunk Of “Suits” Audience

USA Network’s “Pearson” got off to a modest start.

The series premiere of “Suits” spin-off “Pearson” delivered soft ratings Wednesday night.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, the episode drew a 0.12 adults 18-49 rating. It averaged 0.57 million in overall viewership.

Modest in any circumstance, the numbers are particularly disappointing in context. “Pearson” aired out of the ninth season premiere of “Suits” — and lost a significant portion of that show’s audience.

Said “Suits” episode drew a 0.21 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.04 million in overall viewership.

Both “Suits” numbers trail those of last summer’s season premiere (0.28, 1.27 million), but the viewership figure tops anything drawn during the recent spring season (which peaked at 0.91 million for the January 30 episode).
