Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie, Maisie Williams & More “Game Of Thrones” Stars Score 2019 Emmy Nominations

HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” is well-represented on the 2019 Emmy nominations list.

The final season of HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” may have generated a polarizing reaction from fans and critics, but it received plenty of love from the Television Academy.

The series received a plethora of nominations for the 2019 Emmy Awards, including a nod in the Outstanding Drama Series category.

Cast member Kit Harington is in contention for Lead Actor. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage and Alfie Allen will meanwhile compete against Jonathan Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Kelly and Chris Sullivan in the Supporting Actor category.

Emilia Clarke is meanwhile up for Lead Actress, while Gwendoline Christie, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Lena Headey are all in the mix for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Not simply represented in the regular cast categories, “Game Of Thrones” also has a nominee in the Guest Actress race. Carice van Houten will compete against Jessica Lange, Cicely Tyson, Laverne Cox, Cherry Jones and Phylicia Rashad.

“Game Of Thrones” is also represented in non-acting categories like Directing and Writing.
