Ed Sheeran’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” Pacing For #1 With 60-80K US Sales, 140-170K US Units

The new Ed Sheeran album should top this week’s US album chart.

Based on its opening day performance, Ed Sheeran’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” is on track to debut at #1 in the United States.

According to Hits Daily Double, current projections have the album selling 60-80K pure US copies this week. With units from track streams and sales included, it should generate 140-170K in first-week consumption.

That consumption figure should easily yield a #1 bow.

Assuming the projections hold up, the album will become Sheeran’s third #1 in the US. He previously ruled the chart with “multiply” and “divide.”
