Khalid’s “Talk” Reaches #1 At Pop Radio, Returns To #1 At Rhythmic Radio

Khalid’s “Talk” enjoys a big week at radio.

Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Khalid’s “Talk” reaches #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

That is not, however, the song’s only achievement this week. “Talk” also returns to #1 on the Mediabase rhythmic radio chart, where it previously enjoyed a one-week reign.

— “Talk,” which was #3 on last week’s pop chart, climbs to #1 on the strength of its ~17,344 tracking period plays. The count tops last week’s mark by a mammoth 1,930.

Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” holds at #2 thanks to the ~16,999 plays it garnered during the June 16-22 tracking period (+51).

Post Malone’s “Wow.,” last week’s leader, falls to #3 this week. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” stays at #4, while Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” ascends one place to #5.

— “Talk” meanwhile climbs one place to #1 at rhythmic radio. It received ~5,591 rhythmic spins during the official tracking week (+39).

“Old Town Road” falls one place to #2 with ~5,275 spins (-451), while City Girls’ “Act Up” moves up one rung to #3.

Travi$ Scott’s “Wake Up” climbs one place to #4, and Mustard & Migos’ “Pure Water” declines two places to #5.
