Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello Tease New Project With Social Media Clips, “Señorita” Whisper

Friends and “I Know What You Did Last Summer” collaborators Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are linking up for another project.

Tuesday evening, Shawn Mendes shared a grainy video clip on his social media accounts. Seemingly teasing a new song and accompanying music video, the clip features Cabello playing a waitress — and Mendes’ apparent love interest.

Later Tuesday night, Cabello shared a different clip teasing the same project. Though still grainy, her clip features clearer shots of the two singer-songwriters. It also ends with a voice – presumably Mendes’ – whispering “señorita.”

While details on the project are unclear, fan interest is very clearly significant. Mendes’ Tweet has over 160,000 likes as of press time at 1:20AM ET Wednesday morning; Cabello’s post has over 70,000.
