Sting’s “My Songs” Claims #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; “Rocketman” #2

The new Sting album and “Rocketman” soundtrack are faring well on iTunes.

Sting’s new compilation album “My Songs” is off to a predictably strong start on the US iTunes sales chart.

The release is #1 on the all-genre listing as of press time at 2:30AM ET Friday.

The “Rocketman” soundtrack, a fellow newcomer, directly follows at #2. It actually enjoyed a brief stint at #1 earlier Friday morning.

DJ Khaled’s “Father Of Asahd” sits at #3, ahead of the new “Aladdin” soundtrack (#4) and Morissey’s new “California Sun” (#5).

Billie Eilish’s “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” (#6), Ramin Djawadi’s “Game Of Thrones: Season 8” (#7), Eric Church’s new “61 Days In Church, Volume 5” (#8), Flying Lotus’ new “Flamaga” (#9) and Todrick Hall’s new “Haus Party 1” (#10) complete the Top 10.
