In doing so, it surpasses the #4-peaking “Stitches” to become the highest-ranking hit of Mendes’ career.

“If I Can’t Have You” owes the #2 debut to strong opening week sales, streaming and radio figures. Signaling its strength, it actually earns #2 on Digital Song Sales and #8 on Streaming Songs.

— “If I Can’t Have You” is not the only debut in this week’s Top 5; Logic’s “Homicide (featuring Eminem)” concurrently starts at #5. It concurrently bows at #2 on Streaming Songs and #3 on Digital Song Sales.
