“Game Of Thrones,” Raptors-Sixers Game Rule Sunday Night Trends On Twitter

The top worldwide trends involve either “GoT” or the basketball game.

The penultimate “Game Of Thrones” episode and the deciding playoff game between the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers both aired Sunday night.

The broadcasts are predictably fueling ample conversation on Twitter. As of press time at 11:35PM ET Sunday, the Top 19 worldwide Twitter trending topics involve either “Game Of Thrones” or the basketball game.

“#GameOfThrones” currently leads the way at #1, while key character “Dany” (Daenerys) is #2. “Game Of Thrones” topics “Cersei” (#3), “Arya” (#4) and “Daenerys” (#5) form the balance of the Top 5.

The Raptors come into play at #6; star “Kawhi” (Kawhi Leonard) is trending after hitting the game-winning shot.

“Game Of Thrones” comes back into play with “Jaime” at #7, “Tyrion” at #8 and the misspelled “Jamie” at #9. The “#DemThrones” discussion hashtag occupies the #10 position.
