Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” Debuts In Top 20 At Hot AC Radio, Top 25 At Pop Radio

“I Don’t Care” makes a big splash on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC and pop charts.

It did not arrive until the sixth day of the May 5-11 tracking period, but Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” still makes a big splash on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary and pop radio charts.

The high-profile collaboration starts in the Top 20 on the Hot AC chart. It meanwhile arrives just outside that region on the pop listing.

Credited with 1,363 spins, “I Don’t Care” bows at #20 on the Hot AC listing. A spin count of 3,560 yields a #21 bow at pop radio.

Befitting the significance of the track, “I Don’t Care” received hourly first day airplay from many stations at both formats. The impressive early support suggests “I Don’t Care” will be a lock to rank as the most added song at each format this week.
