“Grey’s Anatomy” Renewed For Another Two Seasons; “Station 19,” “HTGAWM” Back Next Year

ABC delivered good news to its Thursday night dramas.

ABC’s Thursday night dramas “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Station 19,” and “How To Get Away With Murder” will all be back next season.

ABC confirmed renewal orders for all three shows. “Station 19” and “HTGAWM” both received pickups while next year, while “Grey’s” has already received a pickup for next season and the following season.

The renewals bring “Station 19” to three seasons, “HTGAWM” to six seasons, and “Grey’s” to seventeen seasons.

As part of the renewal, ABC announced that Krista Vernoff will be the showrunner for both “Grey’s” and “Station 19.” The move will enable a stronger crossover dynamic between the shows.
