Ratings: “Game Of Thrones” Slips, Remains Dominant For “Last Of The Starks” Episode

Sunday’s “Game Of Thrones” was the third-most-watched episode of all-time.

Entitled “The Last Of The Starks,” this Sunday’s “Game Of Thrones” did not perform quite as well in the live+same-day TV ratings as last week’s “The Long Night” episode.

It still delivered mammoth numbers.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, this weekend’s episode drew a 5.07 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 11.80 million overall viewers. The numbers trail the 5.28 rating and 12.02 million viewer mark posted by last week’s broadcast but top those delivered by the prior two eighth season episodes.

From a linear TV perspective, this week’s episode was the third-most-watched broadcast ever. Only last week’s episode and the season seven finale posted better numbers.

It, obviously, ranked as Sunday’s #1 TV broadcast. It will also by far rank as this week’s top-rated scripted program.

As a reminder, the linear TV numbers do not reflect the entirety of the viewership. HBO NOW and HBO Go have been adding about 5 million same-night viewers each week. The show, moreover, adds millions more once DVR, on-demand and delayed streaming figures are taken into account.

“The Last Of The Starks” was the fourth episode of the final season. Only two broadcasts remain.
