The two hottest songs in all of music officially enter the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase US pop radio chart.
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” climbs four places to #8 on the listing. Taylor Swift’s “ME! (featuring Brendon Urie)” concurrently rises fourteen places to #10.
“Old Town Road” received ~10,065 spins during the April 28-May 4 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by 1,487 spins.
“ME!” received ~9,195 spins during the tracking period, which marked its first full week of release. The reflects a mammoth 4,962 gain over the number from last week (which accounted for its first two days of airplay).
With that massive spin increase, “ME!” convincingly ranks as the week’s greatest airplay gainer.
