J. Cole’s “MIDDLE CHILD” Rises To #1 At Urban Radio

“MIDDLE CHILD” replaces “Please Me” atop the chart.

While it cedes its rhythmic radio throne, J. Cole’s “MIDDLE CHILD” improves to #1 at another radio format.

Up one place from last week’s position, “MIDDLE CHILD” earns #1 on this week’s Mediabase urban radio chart. It seizes the throne from Cardi B & Bruno Mars’ “Please Me.”

“MIDDLE CHILD” received a format-leading ~5,400 spins during the April 28-May 4 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by 48 plays.

“Please Me” takes #2 with ~5,031 spins (-516).

Meek Mill’s “Going Bad (featuring Drake)” holds at #3, while Megan Thee Stallion’s “Big Ole Freak” spends another week at #4. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s “Look Back At It” concurrently rises one place to #5.
