By press time at 1:55AM ET, it had reached #1 on the all-genre listing. The eagerly anticipated new single seized the throne from Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus),” which had occupied the pinnacle position for the past several days.
“ME!” is also off to a solid start on Spotify, which provided peak billing on the popular Today’s Top Hits and New Music Friday playlists. The new single will additionally be receiving hourly opening day airplay from many pop and hot adult contemporary radio stations.
