Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” Pacing For #1 At Pop Radio

“Sucker” will become Jonas Brothers’ first #1 at pop radio.

Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker,” which reached #2 on last week’s Mediabase pop radio chart, is poised to make the jump to #1 this week.

The single received 2,223 spins on Sunday, which marked the first day of the April 14-20 tracking period. Up 16% from the previous Sunday’s count, the tally slots “Sucker” at #1 on the building/real-time Mediabase chart.

While the week is still young (and Sunday airplay can be erratic), “Sucker” seems to have a clear path to #1 this week. Ariana Grande’s building #2 “7 rings” and Ellie Goulding x Diplo’s building #3 “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee)” are both declining, while Sam Smith & Normani’s building #4 is not yet an imminent threat.

“Sucker” will be the first Jonas Brothers single to reach #1 at pop radio.
