Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know” Reaches 4x Platinum In US

The smash country ballad just hit the 4x platinum mark.

Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know” just picked up a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the smash hit reached 4x platinum on April 11, 2019. The award confirms 4 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“In Case You Didn’t Know” reached #1 at country radio. It peaked at #2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart (it had the numbers to go #1 in many circumstances, but it unfortunately faced uniquely powerful competition from Sam Hunt’s juggernaut “Body Like A Back Road” during its run). It meanwhile peaked at #19 on the overall Hot 100, becoming Young’s first (and, to date, only) Top 20 all-genre hit.
