HBO’s hotly anticipated adaptation of the Israeli series “Euphoria” officially has a premiere date.
The premium network today confirmed that its “Euphoria” will launch at 10PM ET/PT on Sunday, June 16. It also shared a new official teaser, which is embedded below.
Zendaya stars in the new show, which “follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship.”
Other cast members in the ensemble include Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney.
Sam Levinson created the show and wrote all episodes; he is also part of an executive production team that includes Drake, Future the Prince, Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady, Gary Lennon and Jim Kleverweis.
