BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” Soars To #4 On Global Spotify Streaming Chart, #35 On US Chart

Other tracks from the new EP also attracted interest.

“Kill This Love,” the title track from BLACKPINK’s new EP, generated an impressive amount of Spotify streams during its first full day in the market.

According to Spotifycharts, the single received a whopping 4.004 million global Spotify streams on Friday. The count positions “Kill This Love” at #4 on the daily global chart, beneath only Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma (featuring Snow),” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.”

“Kill This Love” meanwhile takes #35 on the US chart with 768K Friday streams.

Both positions represent new highs for a BLACKPINK song during release week. “DDU-DU DDU-DU” peaked at #37 on the global chart (6/17) and #137 on the US chart (6/16) during its first week of release

Three other tracks from the EP also make the global chart. “Don’t Know What To Do” earns #114 with 1.044 million streams, “Kick It” takes #154 with 879K and “Hope Not” earns #195 with 746K.
