Ariana Grande & Victoria Monet’s “MONOPOLY” Scored Opening Day Pop Radio Airplay

Stations in Boston and Oklahoma City led the way.

Republic has not provided firm indication that Ariana Grande & Victoria Monet’s new collaboration “MONOPOLY” will be an official radio single. And with “7 rings” at #1 on the pop chart, “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” in the Top 10 and several past singles in heavy recurrent rotation, it is not as if pop radio is lacking Ariana Grande tracks.

Befitting the artist’s immense popularity, several stations nonetheless offered opening day airplay to the new track.

Even though “MONOPOLY” did not launch until Monday evening, Mediabase confirms that Boston’s Kiss 108 and Oklahoma’s KJ103 each offered 6 first-day spins.

Minneapolis’ 101.3 KDWB had played the song 4 times by the end of Monday, while Los Angeles’ KIIS 102.7, San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 and Cleveland’s 96.5 KISS had each offered 3 spins.

A few other stations played the song once or twice.

“MONOPOLY” is currently #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.
