Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” continues to attract attention from US music fans. The viral sensation now occupies the #1 position on the US Spotify streaming chart.

“Old Town Road” earns #1 thanks to the 1.46 million streams it received Thursday, March 28.

“Old Town Road” seizes the throne from J.Cole’s “MIDDLE CHILD,” which had spent the past two days at #1. That song now appears at #2 on the chart.

While “Old Town Road” is attracting its greatest interest in the US, it is still firmly on the global radar. Credited with 2.53 million worldwide streams on Thursday, it appears at #9 on the Global Chart.
