Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line’s multi-format smash “Meant To Be,” and Mike Posner’s massive hit “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” just scored new multi-platinum singles in the United States.
According to the RIAA, both songs have crossed the 5x platinum threshold. “Meant To Be” attained 5x platinum status on February 28, while “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” joined the half-diamond club on February 22.
A 5x platinum award confirms 5 million in US units, with each equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Meant To Be” peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100; it also enjoyed a record 50-week reign atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
“Ibiza” peaked at #4 on the Hot 100.
