Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” Pacing For 10K+ US Sales, 90-100K US Units In Week Four

Grande’s album may return to #1 on this week’s Billboard 200.

As the March 1-7 tracking period nears its conclusion, Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” appears poised to return to #1 on the US album consumption chart.

According to Hits Daily Double, “thank u, next” is expected to sell 10-13K pure US copies this week. The inclusion of units from track sales and streams should yield a consumption figure in the 90-100K range.

Such a consumption figure would likely yield a #1 position for “thank u, next.” As of press time, the closest competitor appears to be Hozier’s “Wasteland, Baby!” (pacing for 80-85K units). Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born,” which topped last week’s chart, should shift 70-75K this week.

“thank u, next” spent its first two weeks at #1, before falling to #2 last week.
