“Green Book” Tops “Roma” For Best Picture At Sunday’s Oscars Ceremony

“Green Book” was the year’s best film, says the Academy.

Oddsmakers listed “Roma” as the favorite to win Best Picture at the 91st Academy Awards.

It did not win.

The victory instead went to “Green Book,” which oddsmakers gave the second-best chance of winning.

Earlier in the night, “Green Book” won trophies for Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali) and Best Original Screenplay.

Along with “Green Book” and “Roma,” nominees in the Best Picture category included “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “A Star Is Born,” “Black Panther,” “The Favourite,” “BlacKkKlansman,” and “Vice.”

The “Green Book” win brought an end to ABC’s telecast, which ran for just over three hours and fifteen minutes.
