Ratings Update: BLACKPINK’s “Colbert” Episode Tied For #1 In Late-Night This Week

Monday’s “Colbert” tied Tuesday’s episode as this week’s top-performing late-night talk show.

Earlier this week, Headline Planet noted that Monday’s edition of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” performed well in comparison to episodes from the past two weeks.

The episode, which featured guests John Oliver and BLACKPINK, also held up well in comparison to episodes from this week (February 11-15).

Every day, NBC issues a ratings briefing containing preliminary ratings numbers for the “big three” late-night talk shows (CBS’ “Late Show,” NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”).

With a 3.0 overnight household rating and a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets, Monday’s “Late Show” tied for first place this week.

Only one other broadcast (Tuesday’s “Late Show,” featuring Regina King, Bill & Melinda Gates and Jena Friedman) matched its performance in households. Several of this week’s late-night broadcasts drew the same 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, but none fared better in the key demo.

Monday’s “Colbert” marked BLACKPINK’s inaugural US television performance. The group later added two US performances to its list with spots on “Good Morning America” and “Strahan & Sara.”
