Mabel’s “Don’t Call Me Up” Receiving Early Pop Radio Airplay In San Francisco

Mabel’s “Don’t Call Me Up” is off to a hot start at WiLD 94.9.

“Don’t Call Me Up,” the latest single from UK artist Mabel, is due to impact US pop radio later this month.

At least one major market station is unwilling to wait.

San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9, that station, has offered a substantial amount of airplay over the past week. Mediabase credits the station with 48 spins for the seven-day period between January 31-February 6.

As a point of comparison, the station has played WiLD 94.9 roughly as often as it has played Sam Smith & Normani’s “Dancing With A Stranger.” It has given “Don’t Call Me Up” more spins than songs like Ariana Grande’s “breathin” and Travi$ Scott’s “SICKO MODE.”

Along with the healthy amount of WiLD 94.9 airplay, “Don’t Call Me Up” has registered some spins at San Diego’s Channel 933.
