Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” Officially Earns #1 At Pop Radio

The smash hit becomes Grande’s sixth pop radio chart-topper.

Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” improves to #1 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes.”

“thank u, next” received ~18,949 spins during the January 13-19 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by 987 plays.

It follows “Problem,” “Bang Bang,” “Side To Side,” “no tears left to cry,” and “God is a woman” in becoming Grande’s sixth Mediabase pop #1. Assuming it also rules the next Billboard Pop Songs chart, it will become her fifth #1 on that listing (“Bang Bang” did not reach #1 on Billboard).

Credited with ~18,725 spins (-217), Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes” settles for #2 this week. It had spent the past six weeks at #1.

Halsey’s “Without Me” holds at #3 with ~18,558 spins (+742), while a play count of ~14,919 (+67) lifts Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside” to #4.

Down one spot, Grande’s “breathin” takes #5 with ~14,331 (-2,524).
