More than two years after its emergence, Pinkfong’s viral sensation “Baby Shark” finally debuts on the Billboard Hot 100.
Its debut position, it should be noted, is quite prominent.
“Baby Shark” starts at #32 on the chart, which ranks songs from all genres based on sales, streams and radio airplay. In this case, almost all the activity was generated on the streaming front.
That is not to say sales were a non-factor; the song does take #2 on this week’s “Kid Digital Song Sales” chart.
