In the epitome of a predictable development, Ariana Grande’s new “imagine” has reached the apex of the US iTunes sales chart.
“imagine” sits at #1 on the all-genre listing as of press time at 1:00AM ET Friday.
“imagine,” which seized the throne from Halsey’s “Without Me,” gives Grande a second song in the current Top 3. The pop superstar is also represented at #3 by her previous release “thank u, next.”
Like “thank u, next,” “imagine” is expected to appear on Grande’s forthcoming fifth studio album.
