At the start of the live rounds, “The Voice” fans learned that iTunes downloads would not count as votes this season.
That knowledge has not, however, been dissuading them from purchasing the recordings. Over the past few weeks, various “The Voice” recordings have fared well on the US iTunes sales chart.
The same is true this week.
On the heels of Monday’s semifinal “The Voice” performance show, two recordings occupy Top 10 positions on the US iTunes sales chart. Another four songs are presently sitting in the Top 20.
As of press time at 8:15AM ET Tuesday, Chevel Shepherd’s version of “Blue” leads the way at #4. Kirk Jay’s “I Swear” directly follows at #6, while Kennedy Holmes’ “This Is Me” and Reagan Strange’s “You Are The Reason” closely trail at #11 and #12, respectively.
Chris Kroeze’s “Can’t You See” (#14) and MaKenzie Thomas’ “Vision Of Love” (#18) also hold Top 20 positions.
The other performances are positioned as follows: Sarah Grace’s “Sign Of The Times” (#49) and Kymberli Joye’s “Never Alone” (#101).
