Friday evening, it returned to the pinnacle position.
“thank u, next,” which was at the bottom of the Top 10 earlier in the day, soared to #1 following the release of the official music video.
“thank u, next” seized the throne from Meek Mill’s “Going Bad (featuring Drake).” That high-profile collaboration reached #1 Friday afternoon.
Featuring homages to films like “Mean Girls” and “Legally Blonde,” the video has thus far generated a considerable amount of buzz.
