Backstreet Boys’ “Chances” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

“Chances” earns the top spot on this week’s Hot AC add board.

The follow-up to Backstreet Boys’ Top 10 hit “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” received a predictably warm welcome at hot adult contemporary radio.

Picked up by 20 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations, BSB’s new “Chances” ranks as the format’s most added song.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Heat,” which landed at 13 new stations, takes second place on the add board.

Each added by 12 stations, Halsey’s “Without Me” and Ellie Goulding x Diplo’s “Close To Me (featuring Swae Lee)” tie for third. Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” follows in fifth with 10 new adds.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Camila Cabello’s “Consequences” (7 adds, 6th-most, tie), Picture This’ “One Drink” (7 adds, 6th-most, tie), for KING & COUNTRY’s “Joy.” (6 adds, 8th-most), Flora Cash’s “You’re Somebody Else” (4 adds, 9th-most, tie), Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside” (4 adds, 9th-most, tie), and George Ezra’s “Shotgun” (4 adds, 9th-most, tie).
