How America’s Top 10 Songs Are Performing For Sales, Streams, Radio Airplay

How are songs like “Girls Like You,” “SICKO MODE,” and “Happier” doing for the three Hot 100 components.

Widely regarded as the definitive US songs chart, the Billboard Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

Songs that reach the chart’s Top 10 often post particularly solid numbers in at least two — if not all three — of those categories.

They do not, however, necessarily perform equally well in all areas. Depending on the weighting, a song with outstanding streaming numbers but modest sales and radio numbers can chart better than a more “balanced” hit.

Given that reality, Headline Planet decided to explore how this week’s Top 10 songs are performing in the three component areas.
