Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” Rockets Into Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

“thank u, next” reaches the Top 5 within its first hour of release.

Tracks from Kris Wu’s new album “Antares” took over the Top 7 of the US iTunes sales chart since early Friday morning.

That changed Saturday night, when Ariana Grande’s new song pierced through the wall of Wu.

Entitled “thank u, next,” the song launched on the iTunes store just prior to 11PM ET. An hour later, it had blasted into the Top 5.

It sits at #5 as of press time at 12:10AM ET.

Given vast buzz over the song, it would not be surprising if “thank u, next” continued its climb over the next few hours.
