Ratings: The CW’s “Charmed” Premiere Matches “Supergirl”

Ratings are in for the premieres of “Charmed” and “Supergirl.”

The series premiere of The CW’s “Charmed” reboot and season premiere of “Supergirl” delivered similar live+same-day numbers Sunday.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, “Charmed” drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.54 million overall viewers at 9PM. “Supergirl” posted a 0.5 and 1.53 million at 8PM.

“Charmed” was not a ratings blockbuster, but it did markedly outperform the launch of fellow CW newcomer “All American.”

“Supergirl” matched last year’s season premiere in the demo but drew fewer overall viewers.

This 2018-19 season marks the first year in which The CW is offering national, original programming on Sundays.
