Twenty One Pilots’ “Trench” Pacing For 120-130K US Sales, 155-175K Total US Units

“Trench” has a shot at #1 on this week’s album charts.

Initial sales and consumption projections have emerged for twenty one pilots’ “Trench.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album should sell 120-130,000 pure US copies this week. With units from track sales and track streams included, it may generate between 155-175,000 in overall first-week consumption.

The figures put “Trench” in contention for #1 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and Billboard 200 (consumption) charts.

The soundtrack to “A Star Is Born” will contend for #1 on both charts — Hits currently has the album tracking evenly for sales and just behind for consumption. Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” will likely be in the mix for consumption.

“Trench” is the follow-up to the duo’s “Blurryface,” which debuted at #1 courtesy of 134K pure sales and 147K total units.
