In conjunction with the releases of their respective albums “Look Up Child” and “Cry Pretty,” Lauren Daigle and Carrie Underwood each enjoyed a week as the #1 female act on the Billboard Artist 100.
This week, Ariana Grande reclaims that distinction on the chart, which ranks the top artists in America based on factors like song consumption, album sales and social media activity.
Grande appears at #9 on the overall chart but only trails male soloists or all-male groups.
Cardi B, who takes #11 on the overall chart, is #2 among females.
Daigle takes #3 for females and #14 for all artists, while Underwood is the #4 female and #16 overall artist. Ella Mai, who is the #22 overall artist, completes the Top 5 among females.
Other high-ranking female acts include Taylor Swift (#6 female, #23 overall), Bebe Rexha (#7 female, #30 overall), Nicki Minaj (#8 female, #32 overall), Camila Cabello (#9 female, #37 overall), and Selena Gomez (#10 female, #38 overall).
