Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant To Be” Earns 44th Week At #1 On Hot Country Songs

Plus, FGL’s own “Simple” moves up to #2 on the chart.

The record-setting streak continues for Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line).”

The smash hit celebrates a 44th consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

With each week it retains the #1 position, “Meant To Be” extends the record for most weeks atop the chart. Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road,” the previous record-holder, spent 34 weeks in the pinnacle position.

Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart ranks country songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and all-format radio airplay. “Meant To Be” is no longer dominant in those columns, but it remains a strong performer across the board.

Florida Georgia Line also has the runner-up on this week’s chart. The duo’s “Simple” rises one place to #2.

Dan + Shay’s “Tequila” slips one place to #3, while Luke Combs’ “She Got The Best Of Me” jumps two places to #4. Down one spot, Kane Brown’s “Heaven” takes #5.
