“Piano & a Microphone 1983,” a newly released collection of music from the late Prince, is predictably selling well on the US iTunes store.
The new album is, in fact, #1 on the store’s all-genre sales chart as of press time at 1:55AM ET Friday.
Its closest competition comes from another new release: Josh Groban’s “Bridges.”
Slash’s new “Living The Dream (featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators)” follows at #3, while Eminem’s recently released “Kamikaze” sits at #4.
Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty,” last week’s best seller, currently occupies the #5 position.
Joe Bonamassa’s new “Redemption” (#6), The Story So Far’s new “Proper Dose” (#7), Frank Foster’s new “Til I’m Gone” (#8), the enduring “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack (#9) and Lauren Daigle’s “Look Up Child” (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
