Rapper Mac Miller Dead Of Apparent Drug Overdose, Reports TMZ; He Was 26

Rapper Mac Miller (real name Malcolm McCormick) has died at 26, notes a report on TMZ.

The artist was reportedly found in his San Fernando Valley home at around noon Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to TMZ, the belief is that Miller died of a drug overdose. Authorities were reportedly alerted to the situation when a male called 9-1-1 from the rapper’s home.

In early August, Miller released his fifth studio album. Entitled “Swimming,” the record debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200.
