Voices Of Hope, Us The Duo, More Eliminated From “America’s Got Talent”

Six acts were eliminated during Wednesday’s results show.

Five vocal-driven musical acts competed during this week’s “America’s Got Talent” semifinal round.

Only one of those acts — Michael Ketterer — will be competing in the season finale.

Us The Duo, Amanda Mena, Makayla Phillips and Voices of Hope, the other vocal groups, were eliminated during Wednesday’s results show.

While the former three were immediately eliminated, the endearing Voices of Hope contended for an Instant Save. The reprieve was, unfortunately, not meant to be. Comedian Samuel J. Comroe won the fan-driven Dunkin’ Save, while trapeze act Duo Transcend received a finale ticket from the judges.

In addition to Ketterer, Comroe and Duo Transcend, magician Shin Lim and acrobatic group Zurcaroh earned spots in the season finale. Dance act Junior New Systems and multimedia performers Front Pictures were eliminated along with the aforementioned singing acts.

The remaining five finalists will be determined during next week’s semifinal round. The finale will air over September 18 and 19.
