BTS’ “IDOL” Also Tops This Week’s Global YouTube Songs Chart

“IDOL” received over 130 million streams this week.

BTS’ new single “IDOL” does not simply claim #1 on the Global YouTube Music Videos Chart.

It also rules the overall Global YouTube Songs Chart.

“IDOL” debuts at #1 thanks to the 131 million views it amassed during the August 24-30 tracking period. The view tally accounts for views on official videos, as well as select user uploads.

The official music video contributed approximately 112 million of those views.

“IDOL” doubles the view count of the week’s #2 song. Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You (featuring Cardi B), that song, received 65.5 million total views this week. It was #1 last week.

BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” rises one place to #3 with 44.0 million views, while a count of 40.7 million lifts Becky G & Natti Natasha’s “Sin Pijama” one place to #4.

“Dilbar,” which credits Neha Kakkar**, Dhvani Bhanushali and Ikka Singh, slips two spots to #5 with 39.8 million views.

**Editor’s Note: A variety of artists are credited across the various “Dilbar” uploads. For chart purposes, YouTube identifies Neha Kakkar as the primary artist, with Dhvani Bhanushali and Ikka Singh as co-leads.
