BTS’ “Love Yourself: Answer” Projected For 120-140K US Sales, 155-185K US Units

Early US projections have emerged for the new BTS album.

Signposted by the dominant iTunes positions and strong overall buzz, BTS’ “Love Yourself: Answer” is unsurprisingly expected to post strong opening week US sales and consumption numbers.

Based on opening day data, Hits Daily Double expects the album to sell 120-140K pure US copies this week. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1250 for paid services + track streams/3750 for free services) included, the album should generate 155-185K in total consumption.

The album should start at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

“Love Yourself: Answer” is the follow-up to “Love Yourself: Tear.” That album debuted at #1 on the aforementioned Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and Billboard 200 (consumption) charts.
