Late last month, The Chainsmokers released their new single “Side Effects (featuring Emily Warren).”
On Tuesday, August 21, the duo will share the official music video for the track. The duo confirmed the news in a Monday afternoon Tweet.
In addition to revealing the release date, The Chainsmokers announced that “Riverdale” actress Camila Mendes stars in the video. Mendes subsequently made her own post about the video, which has since amassed over 1 million likes.
“it would appear that dancing in other people’s music videos has become one of my favorite pastimes,” wrote Mendes.

“Side Effects” currently boasts a Top 20 position at pop radio.
