Nicki Minaj’s “Queen” Pacing For 45-55K US Sales, 135-150K Total US Units

Nicki Minaj’s “Queen” will be the top-performing new release.

Sales projections have finally emerged for Nicki Minaj’s “Queen.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album should sell about 45-55,000 pure US copies this week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1250 for paid services + track streams/3750 for free services) should yield a consumption tally in the range of 135-150,000 units.

“Queen” will comfortably rank as the week’s top new release in both columns.

Issued at noon Friday, “Queen” is the follow-up to Minaj’s “The Pinkprint.” That album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 in December of 2014.
