Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Khalid x Normani’s “Love Lies” reaches the Top 5 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
The hit collaboration, which was #7 last week, takes #4 on this week’s chart.
“Love Lies” received 13,515 spins during the August 5-11 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by 1,587 spins.
Only Drake’s “In My Feelings,” DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer,” and Post Malone’s “Better Now” enjoyed greater gains.
“Love Lies” follows “1-800-273-8255” (Logic featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid) as Khalid’s second Top 5 hit at pop radio. It is Normani’s first such hit outside of Fifth Harmony; she achieved two (“Worth It” and “Work From Home”) with the group.
