Ratings: “The Sinner” Falls Slightly From Season Premiere

Wednesday’s “The Sinner” endured a slight week-over-week loss in viewership.

Last week’s second season premiere of “The Sinner” posted series lows in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

This week’s episode drew a slightly smaller audience.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s broadcast drew a 0.29 in the key demo and averaged 1.10 million overall viewers. The numbers trail the 0.31 rating and 1.15 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s series opener.

While the second season is thus far drawing a far smaller audience than the first season, the live+same-day numbers are still solid by cable standards. Both episodes, moreover, built on the show’s “Suits” lead-in in adults 18-49 (this week’s “Suits” drew a 0.27 rating and 1.09 million viewers).
