Travis Scott’s “ASTROWORLD” Projections Upgraded To 185K US Sales, 450K+ US Units

“ASTROWORLD” will earn #1 on this week’s key album charts.

Update: Hits Daily Double has once again updated its projections for Travi$ Scott’s “ASTROWORLD.”

Monday afternoon, it issued another revision. The album is now pacing for 170-195,000 in pure sales and 450-500,000 in consumption.

This Saturday, music publication Hits Daily Double issued opening week sales and consumption projections for Travi$ Scott’s new “ASTROWORLD.” It noted that the album was on track to sell 45-65,000 pure US copies and generate 300-400,000 in total consumption.

The sales component of the projection proved to be far too low.

The publication now says that the album will sell 120-140,000 pure US copies this week. With TEA (units from track sales) and SEA (units from track streams) included, the album will generate 400-450,000 in total consumption units.

Based on those figures, “ASTROWORLD” will debut at #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.
