Cody Jinks’ new album “Lifers” debuts prominently on several key Billboard charts.
It, notably, earns #2 on this week’s edition of the Billboard Top Country Albums listing. Only Kenny Chesney’s new “Songs For The Saints” starts higher on that particular chart.
“Lifers” meanwhile debuts at #11 on the Billboard 200. An all-genre chart, the Billboard 200 accounts for total consumption (album sales + units from track sales + units from track streams).
Given that it generated the bulk of its activity on the pure album sales front, “Lifers” unsurprisingly debuts better on the Top Album Sales listing. It takes #5 on that chart, trailing only “Songs For The Saints” (#1), Halestorm’s “Vicious” (#2), Daughtry’s “Cage To Rattle” (#3), and the “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” soundtrack (#4).
“Lifers” also starts at #2 on Top Digital Albums and at #20 on the Top Vinyl Albums chart.
Each of the aforementioned positions represents a new high for the critically acclaimed artist.
