Ratings: “Cloak & Dagger” Viewership Falls For Season Finale

Thursday’s “Cloak & Dagger” season finale tied a series low in adults 18-49.

The season finale of “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” endured week-over-week losses in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s broadcast drew a 0.15 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.42 million overall viewers.

The numbers trail the 0.19 rating and 0.53 million viewer mark garnered by the previous broadcast. The demo rating, moreover, ties the show’s series low.

While “Cloak & Dagger” has been an underwhelming live+same-day ratings performer, Freeform is evidently happy with the show’s overall resonance. It recently renewed the superhero drama for a second season; the ten-episode sophomore chapter will air in the spring of 2019.

— Thursday’s “Cloak & Dagger” finale led into the cable premiere of Hulu’s “Runaways.” The broadcast settled for a 0.05 in the demo and 0.23 million in overall viewership.
