Kenny Chesney’s “Songs For The Saints” Pacing For 50K+ US Sales, 60K+ US Units

“Songs For The Saints” will be this week’s top-performing new album.

Initial US sales and consumption projections have emerged for Kenny Chesney’s “Songs For The Saints.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the country star’s new album should sell 51-56,000 pure US copies this week. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track sales/1250 for paid services + track sales/3750 for free services), the album should generate 60-65,000 in total opening week consumption.

The pure sales total will likely rank as the week’s best — and thus earn “Songs For The Saints” #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart.

The consumption tally will likely be the best for a new release, but it will not challenge the sum expected of Drake’s “Scorpion.” The Drake album, accordingly, should spend a fifth consecutive week atop the Billboard 200.
